On December 5, 2008 presentations were made to the President’s Cancer Panel by Dr. Susan Conrath of the Public Health Service (assigned to US EPA), Dr. William Field of the University of Iowa, and Dr. Jay Lubin of the National Cancer Institute. In this interview Dr. Field relates details of the presentation, the reaction of the panel, and where this might take the radon issue within the context of the nation’s cancer program.
